The New Blackberry Style 9670

The phone company blackberry recently came out with a new version of a blackberry. This blackberry is called the blackberry style. It is somewhat similar to all the other blackberry`s that they have but this one is a flip. It is only the second phone that blackberry came out with that is a flip phone. The other phone that blackberry has is the blackberry pearl flip. In my opinion the blackberry style is a blackberry bold just in a flip version. Its a flip version of the newest bold. It has the same keyboard as the bold and instead of the pearl ball that they use to select where you want to go on the phone it`s a track pad. This makes it much easier then what they use to use. The ball in my opinion was allot of trouble because it could fall out and sometimes the ball wouldnt be able to scroll up and the track pad is much easier. The blackberry style in my opinion is a good new version of a blackberry because since it is flip it is pretty much impossible for you to call someone by accident. aka "pocket dial". The new blackberry style is 399.99$ without a contract at telus. If you sign a new contract with telus for one year it is 349.99$, if you sign a new contract for 2 years it is 299.99$ and if you sign a new contract for 3 years it is only 49.99$.

Music on Cellphones

Most Cellphones today you are able to put music on your cellphone and use it like an mp3 and or ipod. You can put music on your phone with a usb chord that the phone company usually gives to you when you buy the phone . It is usually included in the box with the phone. Most of phones today let you do this , which is another good reason to own a cellphone. Because not only is it a cellphone but you can use it as an ipod. So you wouldnt have to worry about having to buy a cellphone and an iphone. The only problem that ive noticed with using my phone also as an ipod is that it makes the battery die allot faster then it normally would if you werent listening to music.You would never have to worry about forgetting your ipod when you left the house because everyone usually never forgets to bring their phone with them. So that makes a phone and ipod in one.

Blackberry messenger

Everyone who has owned a blackberry or who does own a blackberry mostly uses the app that comes with the phone called Blackberry Messenger. This is like text messaging except you can only talk to people who have a blackberry on this application. It is allot easier then texting because the messages deliver allot faster. Also , it tells you when the message is delivered and read. So you can tell if someone read your message and you can tell if there ignoring you or not. Also, you can have a display name and a personal message which allows your contacts to see. You can send smileys to another contacts and it will show up. You can send a ping to a contact which is something to get your blackberry messenger contacts attention. You have a status on blackberry messenger which you can set to busy or available so that your contacts know if your busy doing something then they know not to bother you. You can broadcast a message on blackberry messenger which is you can select which contacts you would like to send the same message to and you can send it all at once. There are some problems with blackberry messenger. It likes to freeze allot which makes you have to take out your battery and restart your whole phone. To be able to have contacts on blackberry messenger every blackberry you have has a certain pin and you either scan the barcode by addding them or simply just type in their pin code.

Data Plans

Most people think that if you have a blackberry you have to have a data plan with your phone which allows you with a certain amount of megabytes of searching the web on your phone every month, blackberry messenger , facebook , twitter etc. Some people think that if you have a blackberry you need a data plan. This is not true. You can still own a blackberry or an iphone and not have a data plan. This just means that you cant have blackberry messenger like most people who own blackberrys like to use. Also , if u have an iphone you dont need a data plan either. It can be like a normal phone and just be texting and calling and whatever else a normal phone plan would have.  But why would you buy a blackberry and/or iphone if you dont have a data plan. A data plan is allot more expensive then a regular phone plan. This is very obvious because you have allot more options when you have a data plan. You pretty much have a computer in your pocket. With the data plan , you can change your facebook at any time of the day , you can check your email if your in the middle of no where.

Touch Screen Phones

There are allot of disadvantages and advantages of having a touch screen phone. In my opinion I love the touchscreen phones but they are 10 times easier to crack the screen if you drop it all the time like I do. Touch screens come in handy when you are in a quiet atmosphere and you dont wanna disturb the people around you by texting and they can hear all the clicking but if you have a touch screen phone they wont be able to hear the clicking from the buttons on your phone. Another advantage about having a touchscreen phone is that the screen is allot bigger then a phone with a keyboard because they need room for the actual keyboard and if your screen is a full touchscreen then youll be able to have a 10 times bigger screen. The cost of gettting your touchscreen phone repaired is definetly very high because most of the time they will have to resend you a whole new phone which is very costly towards your phone bill. People tend to complain about touchscreen phones is that it is allot harder to type because the sensitivity is so high. I like the touchscreen phones and also the phones with a full keyboard which is why i have the blackberry torch.

Color ID for blackberrys

App World , the app for blackberrys that allows you to buy and download apps for your phone has an app called Color ID. This app once you have downloaded it lets you pick 2 people that you would like an easier to find out when they are calling or texting you. You can set it only for two people , and what it is is that you set it for 2 phone numbers that are in ur contacts and you can pick 2 of your favorite colors and once these people either text  or call you , the red led that usual flashes for everyone whenever you have something new on your phone will flash the 2 different colors that you choose. This allows you to see who is texting you without having to actually check. This comes in handy for teenagers who are in class and they cant check their phone but it is just killing them to see who is actually texting them. If you decide youd like to spend money you can pay for another app similiar to the color id which is free , and the one that you pay for is you can have more than 2 people , and u can pick a certain color for every person.

Brick Breaker for Blackberry

The company Blackberry and Iphone in my opinion have the best games on there phones because these phones you can download apps on them and the apps are usually games or just stuff to keep you busy when your bored. The most popular game for the blackberry that in my opinion everyone seems to love and play on there spare time is Brick breaker. This is one of my favorite games because the game really does never end there is 34 levels but once you`ve completed all of these levels the levels restart but you dont have as much time to complete the level like you did the first time around. Brick breaker is sort of like ping pong in my opinion... sort of but not really. You have a ball and a plank at the bottom that you can move around u have to get the ball to always hit the plank as its going up in the air. As its going up in the air you have to hit the bricks . Every brick needs 3 hits before it can be completely gone. As the levels go up the bricks start being placed in harder spots for you to hit them and there is more and more bricks. Certain times when you hit a brick there is these things that look like little pills i guess that come out and  you have to catch them in order to be able to use them. You can either get a free life , there is one that is called "multi" which is 4 balls come out which gives you the chance to hit more bricks at once but it is also harder to be able to keep all 4 of the balls in the air for a long time. They also have one called catch which is once the ball hits the plank it doesnt bonce back up in the air right away, it stays on the plank until you aim the ball where you want it to go and then you launch it up in the air again. They have another one that is called "laser" which is a laser that you shoot up and it can hit the bricks also to make them eliminate. They have another one that is called gun which is a gun but you only have 3 bullets and it also eliminates the bricks. They have another one that is called flip , which is the one that i hate the most because once you catch this one the plank at the bottom the way you scroll switch so say you were going to scroll to the left to catch the ball it will go the opposite way. And finally the best one that everyone likes it the free life. This is always good to help you when you are about to have a game over.
